Auctions

Items confiscated by the Decatur Police Department are sold at public auction. The City will advertise in this space and for two consecutive weeks in the newspaper when and where such public auction will be held and what type of equipment is to be sold; oftentimes bicycles, abandoned cars and other such items will be available. These auctions are held at least every six months.
